The ground floor private rooms are brilliant! Very spacious, comfy king size bed AND a little courtyard. Very close walking distance to fortitude valley train station. And a short walk to the Tivoli.

Loved the Hostel. The pods are really nice and private and the kitchen and Community area are perfect to meet people.

I had a fantastic stay at LyLo Brisbane and couldn’t be happier with the experience. The location is absolutely spot on — everything from public transport to cafes, shops, and key attractions is literally a 2-minute walk away, which made getting around Brisbane incredibly easy. The staff were genuinely warm, friendly, and always happy to help, which really added to the overall experience. You feel welcomed from the moment you walk in. The facilities are truly next level. The rooftop bar is a standout — great atmosphere, amazing views, and the perfect place to relax after a day out. The common areas are modern, well-designed, and very well maintained. My stay was extremely comfortable — the rooms were clean, quiet, and thoughtfully designed for a great night’s sleep. Everything felt fresh, modern, and well organised. I would 100% recommend LyLo Brisbane to anyone visiting the city, whether for business or leisure. I’d definitely stay here again.

The staff are AMAZING for such a great price and lovely kitchen set up, LYLO is one of the best long stays I’ve ever experienced- no need for bells and whistles. A perfect home away from home.

A really great hostel. Check in was easy with a warm welcome despite my arriving around midnight. Rooms were clean with large card-access lockers and spacious, comfortable sleeping pods. There were nice communal spaces suitable for working and socialising.

I recently stayed at Ly Lo Brisbane whilst finalising my relocation and it was fabulous! Initially I was reluctant as I am in my 50’s but just needed a safe, secure, clean place and after I called, I was totally reassured by the most amazing staff who were so warm, welcoming and very professional. There is clearly no judgement in any way. The location is fantastic with the service outstanding! I loved seeing all the younger travelers and international tourists enjoying their time and meeting so many amazing people. The relaxing areas and communal kitchen is fantastic and very well managed. The standards of cleanliness and safety is all outstanding and the pods are perfect for a peaceful night’s sleep. All linen and pillows are very good quality and hygiene standards are extremely good. I highly recommend to all!

I have to start with a big praise to the staff. Everybody was always very kind and helpful. They really seem to enjoy their work. The colourful and lively design of the entire place is very enchanting. It’s a lot of fun to walk through. The music played in the corridors complements the feel-good atmosphere. I was relieved about the big space for my luggage and admired the card-locking-system a lot. I was very surprised, how comfortable it is to sleep in a pod. Very wonderful experience! I always felt very safe and had my privacy, when needed. The WLAN was always stable. The bathroom was neat and comfortable. The kitchen- and chillout-area are adapted to the needs of the guests and also nicely designed. The prices are more than fair and appropriate. Unbeatable. Thank you a lot!

From the moment I arrived, I was impressed by the modern design and the warm, welcoming atmosphere. The location is unbeatable— right in the heart of the city, making it easy to explore all that Brisbane has to offer. The highlight of my stay was undoubtedly the rooftop shared kitchen and bar. It is next level! Whether you’re whipping up a quick meal or just enjoying a drink with a view, this space offers an incredible experience. The kitchen is fully equipped, and the bar area is the perfect place to unwind after a day of exploring. I stayed in an ensuite room, the bed was super comfortable, and small outdoor courtyard was great addition. If you’re looking for quality accommodation at an unbeatable price, Lylo Brisbane is the place to be. I will be back!

Great rooftop open air kitchen and dining area plus another open air lounge area.. plus a little work space as you enter the lobby… Stayed in a 4 dorm private pod … clean, spacious, modern decor and great bathroom plus these great large lockers I could store 2 huge suitcases which locked with my keycard…nice little balcony and work space in the room..it def didn’t feel like you were congested with others..the private pods are fab with great light block out and comfy mattress and usual charging station, built in air circulation, lamp and wall storage…the pod feels spacious and noise was not an issue even facing kerbside…staff were fab and accommodating..so yeah def a great affordable place worth the experience…they seem to have lots of activities for travellers ..this was ideal for myself moreso for a budget accomm while I picked up some work…

The staff are very friendly, and the pod is absolutely amazing!! Having a complete private space in a shared accommodation was an awesome experience!! And loved that you even have adjustable light, fan and PowerPoint inside the pod! Bed was super comfy as well!

Everything is new, super clean and nicely designed. The emplacement is: quiet but very close to more lively streets.

I prefer to stay in private accommodation, but all I can say is this place makes me want to come back each time with how seamless and easy the check-in/out process is, PODs provide everything for a semi-private stay. Staff are friendly and always willing to assist. Each POD is provided with a pillow, towel, lights, USB slots and AU plugs.
The upstairs chill out area has a real chilled out vibe. Modern, clean and perfectly located near the Fortitude Valley station and surrounding nightlife and shopping areas. This is a highly recommended place if you are looking for an affordable, but value for money stay.

Quite literally the best hostel I’ve stayed in. The girls are so lovely, the kitchen is next level, the pod rooms are so cool. Can’t wait to come back when the drink taps in the bar are up and running!

All new, clean, fresh and bright. Everything you need in a great location. Fantastic staff. The kitchen is amazing and the common area is so comfortable and inviting. The Pods are awesome, with lights, USB ports, lockers, and you can close the door for total privacy. Definitely going back.

Literally the best hostel I’ve stayed in, in Australia. Easy check in system, private beds with individual dimmable lights and air-conditioning in them, nice bathrooms which come with a fluffy towel each, lockable personal storage. It was genuinely like a nice hotel just with multiple people in a room. Super nice and would happily stay again.
